![]() ![]() ![]() To achieve that, the Corsa II is Pirelli’s first foray into multiple compounds. Pirelli have now transformed racetrack performance into street versatility to guarantee top performance also on road.” They desire a tire with fast warm-up, sports agility, excellent grip and consistent performance ready to compete against the challenges of everyday use. This one “is intended for riders of mid-high performance motorcycles who enjoy a sports riding style on the street and not just on the racetrack. To keep up, the new Corsa II incorporates everything Pirelli’s learned in the last eight years to come up with a tire to handle the new reality. ![]() Since the original Diablo Rosso Corsa appeared in 2010, says Pirelli, “torque and horsepower outputs have increased significantly and the introduction of sophisticated traction control systems and cornering ABS have enabled these performance gains to be applied by more riders able to reach greater lean angles.” Reaching greater lean angles requires carrying more speed. by the way rosso II lasted 1,5 year and the supercorsas 3,5 years until patterns fade.Good conditions to test the new tire, really, as the fog began to lift but the cool and damp remained. Before them i had Diablo rosso II and I was almost dragging knee on highway and braking was great, and in the city they were just good. So my opinion is to use them only in track with good gravel, with heat warmers and just for 2-3 races and then garbage. the wierd thing is that if theres some water on the road they stick like glue but on a rainy day as expected they are not griping at all. Front and rear 6 months later from purchasing them got dry and start being slippery in a frightening point. Bought them in september 2019 (production date 0819) and three months later the rear tyre cracked its profile both sides and i could see the threads inside. they heat up immediately while riding in the highway at high speed and have a decent grip and braking but in city diving they never heat up. Trying to lean about more than 20 degrees the front slips. every imperfection of the road changes the bikes lane. ![]()
